On January 31, 2009 Mark Shaughnessy and Rudy Lara hosted a natural horsemanship clinic at La Mariposa Farm in El Paso, TX. The weather was perfect
and those in attendance enjoyed the demonstration that Rudy displayed. The wonderful lunch was catered by Mi Rinconcito
Restaurant located at 1605 S Solano Dr, Las Cruces, NM 88001, (575) 532-1091.
Rudy began in the round pen with Rebel. Rebel is a rescue horse that had been
starved among other abuses which has left him with some issues. He can be pushy and disrespectful. Below is a slideshow of Rudy working with
Rebel to show him and his owners that there is something that can be done to correct these types of behavior in a non-threatening or painful way.
